Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

I was sexually abused by my mother as I recall from the ages of 12 to 19. Unfortunately, I am now 50, which means the normal statute of limitations in Illinois has expired. However, there have been exceptions, such as when the abuse was acknowledged (understood as such) by the abused, etc. I was in therapy for 2 years in 1992-1993. If I can get that social worker to testify on my behalf as to my late recognition of the abuse and its consequences, do I have a chance for a case? Thanks

You sat on this for 30+ years, your mom is probably 70-80 years old. Criminally speaking, this case is over. Civil damages are probably going to be defeated by laches.
