Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

What are you supposed to do when your domestically assautled and the police do nothing?
I was assaulted and battered by my older sister and the police said that they're not gonna do anything about because they're sick of my family. They didn't arrest my sister and they saw that she bruised my forehead up (stomped me in the face) and they saw that she bruised up my arm (stomped my forearm) and I told them that she stomped the back of my head. I had a witness she had none. I went to talk to the officer's sup and he told me if they arr rest her they have to arrest me because she said I broke a bedroom door. I told them that that's my mom's house and the door has been broken for over a year and they kept telling me that's the only way they will arrest her, if they arrest me first if I let them. I know that this is illegal of them but, i don't know what to do and how to go through with it.
