Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

My televisions were stolen from my apartment.I have lived at my apartment for 3 years live on the second floor in a gated apartment complex.Their is a key needed for the gate, the first door downstairs to get in my building and my apartment..It does not seem like a random job because I'm on the second floor no elevators in my building and I never open my blinds.I have a roommate my cousin who is visually impaired and stays home pretty much all day. he had to go out of town to visit family. Two days before our faucet was broken we called the real estate to repair it.The maintance man came but didn't have parts he came the next day and said he repaired the faucet.I came home to find the faucet still leaking so I made a note to call the real estate tomorrow.I come home after work to discover all the tvs gone.I file a police report immediately and called my landlord who over the phone told me I must have given the key to someone and it was not anyone in the company.I had her change the locks the same day and made sure she was there. Can I take my landlord to small claims court because this looks so suspicious.
