Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Illinois

I Recently work In a BUSY Mall, I applied for a seasonal position at guest services in the mall since I know all the stores very well and I am qualified to work there. I was told by the manager that NO mall employees could work at guest services and she was rude about it. Now they hired another person who works in the mall. Please tell me if there is anything I can do?

Unless you were discriminated against due to your age, race or ethnicity, they can choose to hire whomever they want. So for example, if you are asian and the othe peston who was hired is white, you would have a claim.
