if a man was drunk and hit a car, and the court date is next month, is it ok if he go to another country quickly, because his father passed away?

It depends what country and the judge. "The man" needs to inform the state's attorney's office and ask if they have a problem. If "the man" are talking about Canada, I doubt that anybody would object, if "the man" were to ask. If "the man" is thinking about most other countries, I think that the state's attorney would have a problem that would grow in direct proportion to the distance involved.

The main concern is whether "the man" will show up for the court date. Woe betide the person who misses their court date and was out of the country without knowledge of the court (really the state's attorney - nobody investigates unless there is a problem).

With the Icelandic volcano causing periodic airport closings this could be a serious problem. If "the man" was to take a chance and be trapped on the other side of the Atlantic, even through no real fault of his own, bail would certainly be revoked and SERIOUS consequences would follow.
