If we have a party open to public at our home & we serve alchohol, are we liable if someone would drive drunk, get into accident? What if we advertised it as B.Y.O.B.? Does that change our liability?

I can see all kinds of ways an "open to the public" party could go horribly wrong, far beyond the dram shop liability problems. If you are asking if you will be sued if someone drinks at your home and then causes an accident, the answer is a definite yes. Contact your insurer to see if you can get some sort of coverage for this event. Or just limit it to several hundred of your closest friends and family. No, you should still contact your insurer.
