Adult Films

I am looking to start an Adult Film website. I was wondering what the laws around filming adult films in the state of illinois was as well as Auditions. For example if a girl auditions and it is a sexual act and we choose not to sign that person how do we cover ourselves. Also what are the legalities around adult films so it is not deemed prostitution?

There are many legal risks to inherent to the adult entertainment industry, but as far as the actors and actresses are concerned, it all boils down to ensuring and documenting proper consent. Actors must sign comprehensive release statements which are more complex than a standard for model release. In addition, there are several federal laws in which you must be compliant, for examples Sec. 2257 recordkeeping requirement. You should consult an attorney well-versed in this area.
