Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

re: attention lesley

okay now you say all he has to do is send me a consent form to stop my parental rights...now that being said it doesnt have to go through any kind of court system...and will that form be enough for me to give to the military for the stopping of the child support payment? cause she is in agreement and he will adopt my son so i just need to know those couple things....cause if i am going to give him up...she said she doesnt even care about the 300 a month that i am paying her she said she doesnt even need it...so with that consent form will it stop my child support as well or is there something else i need to do along with that....

I didn't say it doesn't need to go through the court system, if there is an adoption that is going to occur that needs to go through the court system, and the child support needs a court order to stop it. Usually an adoption would be sufficient reason to do that.
