Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Child Support Abated

Years earlier I gave up trying to fight for child support for my daughter. Too many court dates, and not enough support to make it worth it. Now my situation has changed and I would like to try to recieve support again. Is there any way to get the court order for abated child support reversed?

Re: Child Support Abated

Hello. If your child has reached the age of majority, it will be necessary for you to file

a motion and convince the court that you are

due child support that was never paid to you.

You will need representation in court for this.

I will be happy to answer any related questions

that you might have.
