Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Child Support

My husband's 15-year-old daughter dropped out of school. Her mother signed her out and is supposedly going to home school her. Does he still have to pay child support if she is not in a public school?

Re: Child Support

Almost certainly yes...unless the Judgment for Dissolution of Marriage says otherwise. The only statutory reasons to stop child support before a child's 18 are the child's getting married or entering the military or other full-time employment. Or if the child would no longer be living with the custodial parent.
