Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Child's sleeping arrangements when visiting parent

What does the law require for a child's sleeping arrangements when visiting the non-custodial parent? Father does not have a room or even a bed for the child and he sleeps on the floor in a sleeping bag. I believe the father is gay, as he has moved into a 1 bedroom apt. with another man and sleeps on the floor when with our son when he visits. Can I prevent our son from visiting in the future under these conditions? Father lives in Illinois.

Re: Child's sleeping arrangements when visiting parent

If you have concerns regarding these issues then you have to petition the court for modification of the visitation rights. You simply can not withhold visitation without a court order.
