collecting last wages of a decesed father
my daughters father died 9-3-2000, there is an order of chid support of which he is $15,000 in the reer , how do i collect his last wages for my child thru his employer

Hello. You should get an
attorney and go back into
divorce court and advise the
court of the death of your
daughter's father. His
employer may in fact send you
a final check, however you
should have your lawyer to
check to see if an estate has
been opened for your daughter's father which would
entitle you to make a claim
against the estate for the
$15,000 in child support arrears. This is very technical, so please get representation.
