Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Dcfs took our son in June and are only coming after me, the mother, they indicated me for substantial risk of harm and came after me only because i gave up my rights on my 3 daughters from a previous marriage. They did not indicate my husband in anything and he has nothing to do with my past. If I give him custody and sign over my rights could he easily get our son from the state kidnappers? I am more concerned that my son be safe with his father than be raised by sum potential abusers. I just wondered if this strategy would work?

It is unlikely that they will return your son to your husband as long as the two of you live together.
