Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Denial of court-ordered visitation....

On mothers day of 2006 I was pulled over by a Leroy police officer, and I found that I had a suspended license. My ex-husband(who has primary/full custody), on the advice of his attorney(he alleges) decided to deny visitation unless I hired someone for supervised visits. This was not in the original visitation order set forth by the judge in Mclean county court. I have not seen my daughter since that weekend, even including the Christmas holidays. Specifically, what Illinois laws has my ex and his attorney violated, and what could be the possible outcome if this matter is brought before a judge?

Re: Denial of court-ordered visitation....

Hello. Your ex-husband is violating

the terms of the Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage. You should file a Petition For Rule To Show Cause against him. You need to document all of the days that you were denied visitation with your child. You clearly need legal representation. I will be happy to

answer any additional questions you may have.
