Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I am getting a divorce and would like to have half of my husband's retirement including social security. I've already set up rollover retirement account in order to get the 401k money. How do I get his social security? How do I set that up? What do I need to set it up?

You can not get any of his socisl security as you can with an IRA or a pension.SS is not assignable or transferable. If you have married for 10 you can still be treated as your ex's spouse for SS purposes.
