divorce
My husband is out of the house that we rent on a order of protection I have also filed for divorce. We have been renting a house on a month by month basis. I would like to sign a lease with the landlords with my name only however they are wondering how it will work out if he wants his security deposit back from when we first moved in. He would get of it back. Would he be able to get this from them or will he have to wait til the divorce is settled?

The security deposit is marital property, so your lawyer should take care of that. If you do not have a lawyer, please call for a free consultation.
