Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I was divorced in DuPage County, Illinois in 2008. At that time my children were 19, 16 and 12. I understand that the age of majority has been adjusted to 24, if the children attend college. While my ex has always helped pay for their college, once they each turned 18 he has not helped provide for any of their living expenses outside of school, leaving me to provide for their housing, food, clothing, etc. I was designated the custodial parent. My income is 20% of his. Is there any way I can get him to help provide for our 20 year old college student by legal means. Thanks.

Sorry but you understand wrong. The age of majority is 18. Your ex can be ordered to pay for future college expenses including living costs at home under 750 ILCS 5/513, but relief is only back to the time you file a petition, so do something.
