Me & my husband divorced in 1993. In the divorce decree I'm supposed to receive 50% of his pension. He is retiring this year 2015 from a company he has worked for 40 years. My lawyer is no longer around. How do I found out if his job has the legal paperwork that I am to receive 50% of his pension when he retires? Can you please tell me what to do?

Call the HR dept at the company A QDRO should have been entered when you got divorced. If a QDRO was entered it would be in the court file. Do some investigation.
