Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

my husband pays 53% of income and insurance coverage on children for child support. his ex provides us with phony #'s and we haven't seen the children in 7 years. i noticed on a recent bill for child support that she changed the children's last names without our knowledge or consent. what are my husband's legal rights, or if she is trying to sever ties does he have to continue to pay this crushing child support?

You're entitled to an accounting on child support if your case arises out of Illinois. Your state ID states Illinois, but the zip is Kansas. If your support order originates out of Kansas, you will need to pose this question to a Kansas attorney.
