Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My ex husband is nearly $30,000 in the rears on his child support order. He has been to court 3 times for contempt. Each time the official allows him to pay a couple hundred and agree to temporary order, such as a hundred a week for the next 12 weeks. He has never complies to this agreement and continually falls more behind. His trick is.. , he informs the court that he has not been working and hasnt had the money. The fact is, he owns and operates his own contracting company and doesnt report income, nor does he comply to wage garnishment orders sent to this company. Our children inform me that he works everyday and often cancels visitation with them because of work. I am so frustrated, not to mention financially in trouble and i often come up short in my childrens needs. . Should i find outside counsel? Child support enforcement has produced very few results. How can i get him to pay the support his children need so? Please help thank you for your regard

You have to prove to the court that he is working. Get someone to follow him to job sites, take pictures, subpoena owners of job sites Otherwise you have no admissible evidence of his true income
