Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I have joint legal and physical custody of my two children. There is no child support awarded. Our custody was ordered in a very very small county. Well I have moved almost 3 hours away from there (still in the same state) and the children are with me during the school year. I am having a hard time getting there dad to pay for much of anything. He is telling me that I am the one who moved. Can I file something where I am at to change venue or would I have to go back to the same county to change this and straighten it out? Cause I really can't afford going that far for court.

As long as he lives there, the case stays there unless he doesn't object to the transfer
