Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I live in Illinois I am 7 weeks pregnant me and my ex boyfriend has tried for a year to get pregnant but now that I am he has changed his mind he said he doesn't want to take care of the child or sign the birth certificate cause he's in the navy and they will make him pay child support also once the baby gets here he said he will sign away his parental rights...can he do this?

One can not sign away his rights except in an adoption. Without your consent he can not simply walk away. You can obtain support from him without his signing the birth certificate (legally he signs a Voluntary Acknowledgment of Paternity, not the birth certificate) So without your agreement he can not do it.
