Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I am getting married and my future spouse has an ex wife and two kids. Can the ex wife go after my personal assets (401k, primary residence, etc) if my future spouse cannot pay child support? Will a pre nup protect me from her?

There is one reported case that allows a former spouse to go after a new spouse's assets. It is difficult to do, but theoretically possible.
