Modify Child Visitation

Can a the visitation of a child be changed from visitation with one parent that is currently for all summer to splitting the summer with both parents?

Visitation can always be changed. If both parents agree, it�s very easy. However, if visitation has been ordered to one parent for the summer, and the other parent is seeking to overturn it and have the summer divided, that parent will have to show why the prior court order should be changed to serve the best interest of the child.

You basically have to go back into court to modify a decree. The court looks to the best interests of the child to make its decision
