Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I have a pending felony charge for retail theft over 10,000.00 nut less than 100,000.00 I have not been convicted or had court yet, just charged. Can I lose my joint custody and visitation because of the charge

If you didn't have the child with you or in some other way jeopardize the child's safety, probably not. However, joint custody really depends on the other parent's willingness to co-parent with you. Everything may change if you are convicted and sentenced to prison or extended jail time.
