Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
My sister's 2 month old daughter was placed with me in March of 2010 by dcfs after they accused her of starving the baby. She was daignosed with a milk allergy and reflux while with me, it has been almost a year and a half that I have had her. I am getting a check every month for the babies needs but now they are going to drop the case because the social worker withheld information about the baby getting diagnosed with these issues. Do I have a case to sue the hospital that 1st misdiagnosed her or dcfs for withholding information that would of ended the case a long time ago....
