my ex has sole custody of our 13 month old child, and is threatening to move "far away". she called today and said she was going to take the necessary legal action to get what she wants. we have a parenting plan approved by the state of illinois, and I have visitation set up already. can she legally just up and move away??

Unless you hire an attorney, she will most likely get what she wants. She will likely petition for a 609 removal and throw you under the bus. Consider talking to an attorney in your area for assistance.
