Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My Son

Let Me tell you the history of my question. When I was seventeen I had a child. i cared for this child alone financially and physically. When he was about seven months old my grand mother called dcfs and told them i was using marijuana which I was although never around the child (not that it makes it any better). I was then told that I could not leave the house with my child. Now that I'm 18 My grand mother asked me to sign a paper giving her rights but she said we would both be guardians it would just let her take care of him until I got on my feet. Now i have a job, my own aparment and I am more responsible. I am not allowed to see my child at all. I have used marijuana recently but i am willing to stop if I can am able to get or even see my baby, is there any hope for me reuniting with my son, please reply ASAP and let me know it is very urgent and important. Thank you for your time

Re: My Son

Sure there's a chance to regain custody of your son. However, it seems that marijuana is a bit too important to you. Marijuana stays in your system for about a month. You had better stop now. Then hire a lawyer.
