Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My wife, & I are going through a divorce. We reside in Chicago, Illinois. We both work and make similar salaries now, but for the last 4 years we've been married she's been making more. She has a child from a previous marriage, & has been getting child support payments. She was cashing the child support payments in our joint account, until like the last 5 months. She is saying since she made enough money to support her kid without the child support all thoses years, I now have to pay her a percentage of the child support back since we are divorcing. Is this true?
