Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My wife recently abandoned our 20+ year marriage with no notice and moved out of our home. Neither of us has filed for divorce yet. Both of our names are on the mortgage. Is she liable for half of the mortgage payment, even though she is no longer living in the home?
