Legal Question in Medical Leave in Illinois

i have a sister that was adopted when she was just 2 years old she is now 16 still lives with her adopted family in another state she recently had a baby and her foster mother is trying to give him to foster care now i want to know is there any way that our father can get that child befor her dose end up in foster care

There are a lot of obstacles, not the least of which would be that in order for your sister to have been adopted most likely your dad would have had to have relinquished all of his parental rights, meaning technically he may have NO rights today. You also have two state agencies that would have to be involved. Your sister may be of age to be emancipated from her adoptive parents if she wants and if your family chooses to get involved. Nothing is impossible but it is definitely VERY complicated. IF your family is that intent on re-establishing a family tie with your sister, it's time to see a lawyer who knows this area cold.
