I purchased my daughter furniture and now her and the boyfriend have split up and he will not give me the property back

It seems to me that it is no longer your furniture. You bought it for your daughter. You don't know what agreements she may have made with BF regarding its possession. If your daughter wants the furniture back, she can file a writ of replevin in the chancery court asking the court to order that the furniture be returned to her.
