Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

co sign

I co signed a loan for a car for my grandson. He is 21. I am NOT on the title. If he is involved in an accident and has no insurance, can i be held responsible for anything?

Re: co sign

You will only be responsible for continued payment of the loan--if your grandson does not pay it or cannot pay it.
