Legal Question in Health Care Law in Illinois

I recently had a pap test done from a new gyno and feel as though they did a horrible job with it and also had a friend in the room with me and she overheard the nurse and doctor say things such as they could find a swab from the test, etc. I also was perscribed birth control from the doctor without ever getting a pregnancy test even after I told the doctor that I haven't taken birth control in over a month now and I am currently sexually active. I was wondering if there was anything I could do about this. I unfortunately don't have my own insurance and i'm insured through the Healthy Women's pink card and they only cover 1 annual pap test a year and I'm highly worried that this doctor could have lost or failled to properly administer my test for correct results and I feel nervous that there is nothing I can do and could be at risk for Cancer. If there is anything you could help me with I would appreciate very much! Thank You.

You should talk to the doctor about your concerns. You don't say how old you are or whether you have a high risk for cancer in you immediate family. If you felt you needed a pregnancy test you should have told the doctor at the time of your exam. You sound more than a little hypocondriacal to me.
