I have a question, my tourist visa expires on the 31st of March and I'm already in extension. The thing is if somebody petitions me for a working visa, can I stay here while it processes and get a decision? Will the clock stop if someone sends in a petition for working visa to USCIS?
Or will I be out of status after March 31st and risk deportation? Please advise and thanks.
