Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois

I came to USA with a visa back in 1998 and was able to request my SSN# and therefore obtain my driver license. I have been summoned for Jury Duty in cook county, IL. In the past when I was asked (twice) I was excused because I am not an american citizen (to prove this I sent them a photocopy of my visa). My visa has expired. What should I do?. If I call them, they would ask me for proof of my legal residence documents. And If I go (they just ask for an ID) I will be lying to them.

I had a very similar sitution with one of my clients last year. I sent the court a letter requesting her to be excused from Jury Duty and she was.
