Legal Question in Insurance Law in Illinois
My Father had died and he had a life insurance policy through his job. The life insurance company said that is not no beneficiary listed on the policy. Does his daughter receive the benefits.

Each Life Insurance policy has different rules. Many life insurance policies require the surviving spouse receive the proceeds. Contact the employer for a copy of the policy to determine the proper beneficiary.
