Legal Question in Insurance Law in Illinois
i am in the state of illinois. My father just passed with a will but he did not mention any insurance policy. Going through is important documents we discovered a small policy of about $5000, but there is not name beneficiary. My father and mother have been divorce for many years. Who is the benefactor in this situation and who determines?
