Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Illinois

I want to use the same CONCEPT as the Run DMC logo but replace the DMC with CHI. I read another post regarding something similar, but since my letters are SO different, I wanted to know if I would run into any trouble with using the logo concept?

Yours would be a clear knock-off, attempting to ride the famous coattails of a major music group that will be keen on stopping you.

Since Run-DMC disbanded after the death of Jam-Master Jay in Oct. 2002, the legend lives on and the label is very valuable, and those managing it can be expected to aggressively protect it. Be very careful.

Also Rev. Run, who famously became an ordained minister, is still performing and has a following in the millions. You using RUN CHI would seem to imply sponsorship by Rev. Run. and I doubt he would like it.
