While you haven't given enough information to be certain, if you were not cited or given a ticket for any of the activities at the park, and the police took your plate number, ran it and found nothing outstanding on your record, then it is possible they only took it to run the check with. Based on your putting down "juvenile dependency" as the area of law, it would seem that you are 16-21 years of age, and probably driving someone else's car. If that is the case then they also probably ran a check on both the car and your own license, and if the car was "clean" that could have worked in your favor. Police do exercise judgment . . . . But if you are presented with a citation or ticket in the mail, it would be time to consult with an attorney.
