Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

My boss went around telling my friends he was going to fire me before I was fired. These are people not in management and di not work directly with me. Its not the first time friends have told me he was telling them personal information about me. Is there anything I can do/ I saved the text from my friend.

If your employer did not reveal protected health information you do not seem to have much in the way of recourse. It is bad management but not illegal per se. Sounds like you are better off not working for this person. Good luck to you.
