Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

I have been diagnosed with panic attacks due to work stress. Since I have been in my position I have not been officially trained and have stressed that to manager. Now manager is writing me up, counting all my time and has mentioned about termination to me if I don't start doing as I should in my job. I am seeing multiple doctors for this disorder and now am off work. Should I get an attorney?

Potentially, at least to write a letter explaining your diagnosis in order to trigger a requirement by your employer to make reasonable accommodations for your disorder under the ADA. Additionally, if you want to take FMLA time off from your work, it may be advisable to consult with an attorney regarding the proper notice for it.
