Hello. If health coverage was part of your employment package and was an incentive to hire you, in my opinion the employer cannot legally drop your health insurance coverage. The employer may attempt to justify this by saying that doing so

is a way to keep from laying off employees, but in my opinion such steps on the part of the employer are a basis for you to consider taking legal action. I will be happy to discuss this further and in more detail. You have at least two options here.
