Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

Hi. I have an ongoing lawsuit against my employer for an injury at work. I recovered 100% and went back to fill out an application since its a seasonal job and they told me i dont have to fill it out that they will call me asap. i never got a call. Can I sue them for denying me an application/job possibly because of the lawsuit?

Sure you can "sue" them (because our system is set up to allow you to file before you prove your case). But, to prevail, you would have to PROVE that they did not call you in for work because you filed a workers compnesation claim. This is not easy to prove without more than just your hunch.
