Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

I signed a 2 year contract with a hospital a year and a half ago and am considering leaving. I looked at my contract yesterday and it doesn't say anywhere on it about repayment terms. I did call HR and they said it would be pro rated based on time worked. My question is if it doesn't speak to that in the contract can they make me repay it?

Please do yourself a favor before you quit and consult with an experienced employment attorney. Companies take these repayment scenarios very seriously.
