Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

My wife is a secretary in a Catholic grade school. Her boss is an awful bully. I have received calls at work from her coworkers saying that she is belittling my wife in front of others. Being demeaning and cruel. This has been going on for a number of years. What can be done legally?
