Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

I work for a bank, recently took a new position in Investment Banking and they are asking for my Facebook Login ID and password to monitor that I am not giving out stock advice. This seems like a total invastion of privacy, they can monitor my page I would think, but to demand logins to my person pages, emails, voicemails, might as well ask for my bank account number and ATM.

Is this legal?

I would view this as a totally inappropriate request by your employer and yes, an invasion of privacy. May I ask who the bank is?
