I need help

I have a house i rented to a female who has 1 child.she paid the first month rent and then this month she wont pay and she has informed me she knows the law.well i dont.i gave her a 5 day notice to get her out and she still hasnt went anywhere.she has informed a neighbor she has called a lawyer.i still havent received anything from her or a attorney,i wish they would come on so she can go.i am to the point i want to sell my house.but can i with her in it?please help me.thanks--name removed--

You do not have to wait for anything from the renter. Once your five days are up, sue her to evict her for failure to pay rent. There is no defense to failure to pay unless she has alleged some defects in the apartment.

I can generally evict her for $850.00 including court costs. This will get you three court appearances. This fee does not include the sheriff's fee to evict her. ($225)
