I am a landlord. Our lease clearly says that all maintenance is a Tenants' responsibility, but they claim that it is not.
Is it open for the interpretation? I can e-mail you a paragraph from the contract, very short but clear.

If the lease is clear, then if you have to do maintenance, it says that is additional rent. Write them that if you have to pay for it, you will add it to the their rent, which they will have to pay or be evicted.
