Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

I am in the process of evicting a tenant for non-payment of rent. I found out today that the people that live there are subletting the apartment from that lease holder and have receipts showing that they are current on this 'rent' payment. They have been paying my tenant thinking they owned the property instead of myself. Meanwhile, my tenant that is SUPPOSED to be living there isn't paying me. I would like to sign a new lease with the people actually living there and paying. How can I get the tenant that is illegally subletting off the lease without evicting the people who really live there?

This is tricky and you should get an attorney involved bit it may be possible to make a new lease with the occupants while you get an eviction order against just your tenant.
